Awesome Zoo, definitely worth a visit if you're ever in San Diego. There's even an Australian Outback section .... lots of koalas.

Pretty city, nice people. Hugh navel base, although my pictures did no justice. Coffe was a good in San Diego, however, it seemed a croissant is mandatory with breakfast.  I ordered eggs, they came served in a croissant. Home of the Padres.

Staying in a nice hotel in Santa Monica was a bonus, especially given that Santa Monica and Venice Beach are probably the best things about L.A. Santa Monica Venice Beach Hollywood La Brea Tar Pits in LA, interesting. Smog laden downtown L.A.
