Puebla, Mexico
Puebla de los Ángeles, the capital and largest city of the state of Puebla. Founded in 1531 in an area called Cuetlaxcoapan, which means "where serpents change their skin", in between of two of the main indigenous settlements at the time, Tlaxcala and Cholula.

The Biblioteca Palafoxiana is the first public library in the Americas. Founded by Bishop Juan de Palafox y Mendoza in 1646. Photographs are not allowed inside, however the security guard let me take one from outside the door - you can just see him hidden away behind the door.
